The BESPOKE LEADERSHIP development program helps individuals to identify, define and fulfil their leadership potential. Directed towards expanding our everyday leadership actions and behaviours, this program focuses on three integrated perspectives of leadership:
Leading the Future - How to lead for the future and how to navigate through volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous challenges.
Leading the Self - How to develop deeper levels of self-awareness and understanding, focused on: who we are, how we think and how we live.
Leading Others - How to maximise and leverage the potential and performance of others, in the pursuit of high-performance.
BESPOKE LEADERSHIP Development Guide
Below is the BESPOKE LEADERSHIP Development Guide and online video program (chunked into 3 sections with a short introduction video). Work through these resources in tandem to help develop and expand your leadership potential.
Part 1 - Leading the Future
In PART 1 of the BESPOKE LEADERSHIP development program we explore - Leading the Future. We highlight an enduring issue of leadership development that we call the ‘Leadership Paradox’ and we use this challenge as the foundation for further inquiry into effective leadership. We look at a selection of external and internal attributions that can impact leaders, while considering the importance of growth, adaptation and feedback loops. At the end of PART 1 we briefly explore the path of modern leadership research and theory. We finish by recognising the important choice that all leaders must make in order to fully expand and amplify their leadership potential.
Part 2 - Leading the Self
In PART 2 of the BESPOKE LEADERSHIP development program we focus on - Leading the Self. We look at how we can guide and manage ourselves so that we can maximise our full potential. In this part of the development program there are 3 integrated sections:
Who we are - understanding what makes us unique as an individual in relationship to our personality, motivations and personal narrative.
How we think - this involves exploring a concept called meta-cognition, considering how we make decisions and what we can do to improve our self-control.
How we live - in this section we think about our personal wellbeing, as well as how we can effectively manage the pressure and stress of leading.
Part 3 - Leading Others
In PART 3 of the BESPOKE LEADERSHIP development program we focus on - Leading Others. As a core responsibility for any leader this section of the pro- gram focuses on how we can guide, manage and leads others towards sustained levels of high performance. In this part of the program we look at:
The BESPOKE LEADERSHIP Compass - a diagnostic that can help us to lead others more effectively.
Key leadership actions and techniques that can increase and maximise the potential of others.
Approaches for dealing with conflict, change and challenge.
